KissFM is a UK radio station broadcasting nationally on FM and DAB Digital Radio in London, Bristol, East Anglia and the Seven Estuary. It was launched in October 1985 as a pirate radio station, first broadcasting to listeners in South London on 94FM. KissFM was established by Gordon ‘Mac’ McNamee, Tosca, George Power and Pyers Easton.
KissFM was the first legal station in the UK to specialise in black and dance music. The station became available on Digital One’s DAB multiplex on December 2012. KissFM aims to play high-quality music that’s on-demand among its audience. Before choosing any artist, they check their performance in the charts and on Independent Local Radio. However, this doesn’t mean they don’t support new talent; it’s only that the station dedicates most of its time to airing the best music varieties.
The radio station is available on FM and DAB Digital Radio to listeners in the UK. For anyone intending to listen to KissFM from abroad, you have to tune in online. Whether you listen on your radio, Smart Speaker or mobile device, you’ll always enjoy quality sound.
